WE photographed this 3 birds nature scene while visiting the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge late Sunday afternoon on July 28, 2019.

The main star in this image is, of course, the Black Skimmer as it flew above the 2 wading birds with its bill or beak, if you prefer, full of fish. The skimmer's "full of fish" beak/bill justifies the "triumphs" part of the title in our opinions.

WE were tempted to crop the image to enlarge the Black Skimmer but decided this scene as a whole was not only a good Black Skimmer image but also a great nature image as a whole. Again, in our opinions.
