On January 04, 2017 I, Bill, visited (Deb could not accompany me on this trip) the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge, which is located south of Tallahassee, Florida along the Gulf of Mexico coast. This has become one of Deb's and my favorite places to photograph wildlife as it is a beautiful and very well maintained refuge. There is a large multitude of wildlife living within the refuge. Of course, this time of the year many of the migrating birds make Saint Marks their temporary short-time stop-over or their winter home. Now to my image. Pictured is a Brown Pelican. It's scientific name is Pelecanus Occidentalis for those of you who would like to know. I photographed this Brown Pelican while it floated, probably paddling with it web feet, around taking a break from flying and diving for fish. It seems to notice I was on the shore along the canal it was in but didn't seem bothered at all I was photographing it. In fact, as you can see, it turned and looked straight at me as if saying; "OK dude, here I am, make the best of it". So I did my best to comply with what I was fantasizing its imaginary thoughts were projecting. Enough, let's move on. All visits to our FAA-Pixels art sites are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated. Please visit often and, if you will, tell your family and friends about our art sites. They may find something they like and thank you. Thank you for visiting. Bill & Deb Hayes
