On July 03, 2018 Deb and I visited the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge to photograph all things of interest. While there several deer wondered out of a section of woods along Lighthouse Road as we slowly drove along the road. Of course, we stopped, slowly exited Deb's Jeep with our cameras hoping they would not run off. Much to our surprise a couple of them, this buck included, remained standing along the road and was staring at us as if checking us out.

We started photographing them hoping they would realize we were not a threat to them. They must have felt at ease with us since we did not try getting too close as they hung around for a couple of minutes before moving back into the woods.

I, Bill, captured this image with a Nikon D850 camera aided with a Nikon 200-500MM Lens boosted by a 1.4 extender. Late yesterday and this morning I worked on this image using several programs including Photoshop plus 2 or 3 artistic software programs I have in my computer to achieve the image you are seeing. It took considerable time but I finally brought the image to an artistic point that pleased mine & Deb's eyes. Hopefully, it will also please your eyes.
