On October 13, 2018 Deb and I were visiting on the beautiful Jekyll Island, Georgia when we parked under a gorgeous oak tree outside The Jekyll Wharf, which is located on the west side of the island.
Not long after arriving a very nice couple parked near us and got out of their vehicle with their beautiful & friendly poodle dog. I asked them right away if they would mind if I took a few pictures of their dog and, of course, asked its name. "Yes you may and Charlie is our dog's name" they said.
Yesterday and today I worked on this image of Charlie. The final posting is of a light oil-brushed painting of Charlie placed into an artistic background, which I found very pleasing to my eyes. The husband had told me Charlie loved his wife the most and he considered Charlie her dog. So this morning I decided to email a small copy for viewing purposes to the female owner asking her approval before this posting. She, of course, said liked it very much, which is why I'm posting it.
