WE captured this image of the St. Marks Lighthouse located at the end of Lighthouse Road on the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is south of Tallahassee, Florida bordering the Apalachee Bay, which flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The image was captured at dawn on March 31, 2019.
WE had to wade into the salt water a distance to be able to capture this image from this angle using a Nikon D850 camera along with a Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 lens. We might add the camera was "hand-held" to capture this scene.
