Description
My husband, Bill, and I were kayaking on the Wacissa River in north Florida just east of Tallahassee when this gorgeous Great Blue Heron (scientific name is Ardea herodias) flew by very close to our kayak. Naturally I started shooting as fast as I could to capture images of this beautiful bird. Should you buy a copy of this image to have printed on photo-paper, canvass or any of FAA's many other available medias please be assured FAA's watermark will NOT appear on your printed media when you receive it as FAA removes the watermark before it goes to print. ALL visits to my FAA-Pixels art site are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated. Please visit often and, if you will, please also visit my husband's FAA-Pixels art site. Bill's link is; 1-bill-hayes.pixels.com --- Thank you. Deb

Hi Deb! Wonderful catch and quick reflexes! This image has been featured by Wild Birds Of The World. L/F
DB Hayes replied:
William: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Now my husband & I each have an image featured by your wonderful Wild Birds Of The World group !!! Nature/birds photography has always been both mine and Bill's favorite subjects to shoot. When I captured that heron Bill was paddling our kayak so he couldn't shoot. Poor man. Thank you again. Deb
