WE photographed this gorgeously cared for and modified 1955 Chevy on February 23, 2019 while visiting Brunswick, Georgia and surrounding areas. We did so using a Canon 7D Mark II camera along with a Sigma 17-50mm lens.
WE first edited the original image with 2018 Photoshop CC. Then we used a couple of artistic software programs to bring the image to its finish, which we find "pleasing to our eyes". We hope you also find the same and approve of our artistic touch to this beauty.
I, Bill, was especially drawn to this 55 Classic since it flooded my mind with memories of my childhood. When I was 12, 13 & 14 years of age (by this age the 55 models had already been on the road for a few years - I'm old but I was not 12 years of age in 1955 and Deb had not yet been born) on Thu., Fri., Sat. and Sunday nights I earned money by working as a carhop at a local cafe waiting on the drivers of the cars of that day. I brought the food outside from the cafe on the exact same type window tray as shown on this 55 Chevy and, of course, placed it on the window as shown. WOW !! What a flood of memories. If I got a nickel or dime tip I was on "cloud 9" as the saying goes. If I got a quarter, which some of the guys would give me to impress their date, I was truly "over-the-moon".
Naturally we asked the owners for permission to photograph the 55, which they (we will refer to them as L&M for privacy reasons) gladly gave to us. Therefore, our sincere appreciation goes to L&M for their kindness.
All visits to our FAA-Pixels art sites are welcome, encouraged and very much appreciated. Please visit often.

Wow, I love the color! Was this what they used to call Cherry Red? In any case, you've beautifully captured this vintage Chevy, Bill and Deb! The clarity is superb, the details are many and quite interesting to examine, and the darkened background eliminates any distractions. Love the flags too, which brings an added distinctive touch to the frame! L/F

Thank you very much for your visit and compliments Wes. We're not sure about the exact red but we agree with you about loving the color. Reminds me, Bill, a lot of the red 1967 Mustang GTA I bought off the showroom floor in Jackson, MS. while in the U.S. Army. It looks like the same red to me. Thanks again. Bill & Deb
