Our "Hometown Fogged" image was captured on Saturday Oct., 24, 2020 during a fairly heavy foggy sunrise.

The image is of the Blakely, Georgia City Hall building, which is located on the downtown "square". I, Bill, was born and raised in Blakely. I volunteered for the U.S. Army in March, 1965 and returned for one year or so after being honorably discharged in mid 1969.

Blakely, Georgia was/is one of those small-towns, USA. However, back in my day growing up there it was a very busy and hopping small town. The stories I could tell about my life growing up there could make for a short book.

It was refreshing to return to Blakely for our photography shoot even though it was for only one day.
