Deb & I came upon this beautiful Tricolored Heron (scientific name is Egretta Tricolor) recently when we were on a photo shoot at the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge. It was perched on top of this post as though it was watching over its territory. Of course, we started photographing it right away and this is one of Deb's images. However, I could not resist seeing the results if I used a digital oil brush on the photograph. I was happy with the results so I decided to upload it along side of the original photograph. Therefore anyone interested in this image will have 2, from which, to make a choice.
