We have 2 beds of Mexican Heather planted on both sides of our driveway where the driveway connects to the front road in our neighborhood. This beautiful heather comes back year after year and blooms small blooms all through the growing season. Therefore, it is like a magnet to pollinators.

Sunday (July 25, 2021) I, Bill, was painting our mailbox, which is posted in one of the two Mexican Heather beds. While doing so Deb decided to bring her Sony a7RIV plus a 100mm macro lens along with a small folding chair to see if she could capture a few of the pollinators in a macro fashion.

This, of course, is one of her captures. We hope you enjoy.
