Deb and I were on a photography trip in one of our favorite "go-to places" in north central Florida in January, 2017 when we came upon this gorgeous American Bald Eagle standing on a very low hanging tree branch. Of course, I am referring to the Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge, which is located south of Tallahassee, Florida along the Gulf of Mexico.

I, Bill, was actually the lucky one to capture this image plus I also digitally altered it to some degree. I first changed the background. Next I painted the bald eagle and the entire scene using an oil brush to give it what I hope is a truly realistic "painting" appearance. Needless to write the final decision as to whether or not that is true is up to you, the viewers.
