The morning sunrise comes forth strong as Nature show its might and in doing so it appears to be making its announcement loud and clear by lighting up the cabin of the lighthouse with its beautiful golden color.
WE captured this beautiful sunrise image shining on the St. Marks Lighthouse located on the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, which is located on the Apalachee Bay on March 20, 2019. In order to capture the image from this angle we had to wade out into the low tide in the cold water. Of course, we had waterproof boots on our feet.
We used a Nikon D850 camera mated with a Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 G2 lens to capture this image. It may be of interest to you photography minded viewers to know this image was captured with the camera/lens being "handheld" and at a shutter speed of only 1/50. The image stabilization feature of the Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 G2 lens is superb.
All visits to our FAA-Pixels art sites are welcomed, encouraged and very much appreciated. Please visit often.
