Description
Deb and I were kayaking the Wacissa River located about 20 miles or so east, southeast of Tallahassee, Florida on December 04, 2016 when we came upon this gorgeous Tricolored Heron perched on a tree branch extended out over the river. Naturally, I slowly paddled the kayak as close as we dared, then we started photographing this heron. It tolerated us for a few minutes until it must have felt it wanted no more to do with us below so it flew off. However, I was lucky enough to have captured this image before it departed. Deb was shooting with her Canon and I with my Nikon plus we each were using our Sigma 150-600 mm lens, hand held, with the image stabilizers engaged, of course. Please be assured should you purchase a copy of this image to have printed on canvass, photo-paper or any of Fine Art America's (FAA) many other available medias FAA's watermark will NOT appear on your printed media when you receive it as FAA removes the watermark before it goes to print. All visits to our FAA-Pixels art site are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated. Please visit often and, if you will, please tell your friends about our FAA-Pixels site.
