Artist's Description

We visited Saint Augustine, Florida on 6 December 2023 to photograph all things of interest. While doing so we found ourselves near the Bridge of Lions when the draw bridge started rising. Of course, all vehicles on the bridge came to a halt. Finally, the cars started moving again, which is when we started photographing the scene.

The original image of this scene was captured using our Sony a7r black & white infrared converted camera. However, after editing a copy we then started applying artistic touches to the image until we arrived at this look, which has an abstract, impressionistic feel and look, at least, to our eyes.

WE are a team of two, a husband & wife duo, Deb & Bill. Deb has loved photography as a hobby since the mid...
