This beautiful horse was owned by Deb's nephew's wife and the horses' name was Sandy. Sadly, a short while ago Sandy crossed over to the next life. While living, though, Sandy had a happy life living on the home place area where Deb grew up in Southeast Georgia where her nephew, his family and other relatives still live. She had the freedom to roam a rather large pasture with 2 other horses.
Deb captured the original image a while ago while we visited. This morning she asked me to work with it to see if I could transform the image into one worthy of posting on our art site.
The original image needed a little TLC so I started by cleaning it up using Photoshop. I also used a Photoshop oil brush to digitally paint the image a bit. Finally, since the background in the original image was not very pretty I decided to change it to the artistic textured background you see. However, this process almost brought me to my knees so to speak. The time it took exceeded my patience level a bit. However, I managed to stay with it to reach the point it became "pleasing to my eyes". Finally, feeling victorious, I took a deep breathe and saved the image.
All visits to our FAA-Pixels art sites are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated. Please visit often.
