On October 6, 2020 we departed our home at 1:20 AM to drive the 4.5 hours one-way trip to the Watson Mill Covered Bridge, which is inside the Watson Mill State Park near Comer, Georgia. A long trip but well worth it in our opinions. This is by far the best covered bridge and waterway we have visited in Georgia so far. However, we do have several more to go before we can say we have visited them all.
We were hoping to capture the scene at sunrise but due to the park not opening until 7 AM and the time it took for us to set up the sun had already risen.
This image was captured by Deb using a long exposure to smooth the water, which gives it a dreamy artistic look in our opinions.
