The 1936 Cord 810 Phaeton Sedan was a car ahead of its time. It was nearly devoid of chrome. It had hidden door hinges as well as the rear-hinged hood. The headlights were also hidden in the pontoon fenders, which was a first ever feature in automobiles at the time. Moreover, the fuel cap was hidden. It also featured a "coffin nose" plus many other features unheard of in 1936 such as being a front wheel drive vehicle. Sadly, the Cord was only produced for 2 years (1936 & 1937).
All visits to our FAA-Pixels artsites are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated.
